/></p></section></section><section><p><br  /></p></section><section><p><span>他带领的科研团队从2014年起研究应对流行病的措施，并曾在2016年发布一种能快速检测到埃博拉病毒的传感器，并且应用到了寨卡病毒疫情中。</span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>2018年，该团队的传感器已经可以检测<strong>非典、麻疹、流感、丙型肝炎、西尼罗河等多种病毒</strong>；还获得了强生公司的5万美元资助，用于开发可嵌入式病毒检测传感器。</span></p><p><span><br  /></span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>现在，他们再次运用已有的经验技术，来研究关于新冠病毒的识别方法。</span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>智能口罩的研发原理听起来十分简单易懂：<strong>在口罩内装上特定的传感器，识别新冠病毒的基因序列；这样当人们戴着口罩呼吸、咳嗽或者打喷嚏时，如果识别出新冠病毒，口罩就会在几小时内发出荧光信号。</strong></span></p></section><section><p><br  /></p></section><section><section><p><img /></p></section></section><section><p><br  /></p><p><span>口罩的传感器是由DNA和RNA这两种能与病毒结合的遗传物质组成，通过一种叫冷干机的机器，冷冻干燥到口罩上，可以在室温下保持几个月稳定。<strong>它的荧光信号将由两种东西激活：来自粘液或唾液的水分，以及新冠病毒的基因序列。</strong></span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>荧光信号将是肉眼无法识别的。但只要用成本1美元的手持荧光衣来扫描口罩，就能得到结果。</span></p><p><br  /></p><p><strong><span>这项研发将可能解决其他病毒检测方法带来的误诊和延误等问题，让</span></strong><span><strong>各国更好地控制疫情。</strong></span></p></section><section><p><br  /></p></section><section><section><p><img /></p></section></section><section><p><br  /></p></section><section><p><span>目前新冠病毒检测要等待24小时才得出测试结果，有的患者甚至要等几天才能拿到报告；<br  /></span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>而这种口罩只需要<strong>1-3个小时就能感应到病毒并发出荧光信号</strong>，医生可以很快就知道患者是否感染新冠，不必花时间采样送检。</span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>很多商场、酒店、机场的工作人员还会用测试体温的方式来发现可能的感染患者，然而这种方式会使<strong>大量没有发烧症状、或根本无症状的患者将被遗漏</strong>，然后引起更大范围的疫情传染；</span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>而安装了传感器的口罩是通过识别病毒本身，而非识别症状来发现病例，杜绝了这种误判情况。</span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>并且这已不是柯林斯研究团队头次研发检测病毒产品。2016年，他们曾发布过应对埃博拉病毒、寨卡病毒的传感器，可以在<strong>2-3个小时内检测到感染病例</strong>。这种传感器的成本是20美元，而测试成本只要1美元以下。</span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>所以说，如果这种口罩开发成功，简直是造福万千人民。大家将获得一种更方便、更便宜、更迅速的病毒检测方法从而判断病情，也不用再忍受一遍遍测试的酸爽感觉。</span></p></section><section><p><br  /></p></section><section><section><p><img /></p></section></section><section><p><br  /></p></section><section><p><span>柯林斯教授表示，可以想象人们在机场、上班时、或者是医院等场合使用这种口罩。民众去医院看病时如果戴上了这种口罩，医院就可以提前过滤他们其中的哪些人已经感染了病毒。<br  /></span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>而研发进度方面，柯林斯则表示现在还在“早期阶段”。最近他们正在测试，从呼吸、打喷嚏等方式得来的小型唾液中检测新冠病毒的能力。</span></p><p><br  /></p><p><span>团队还在讨论这项技术的设计，<strong>究竟是将传感器嵌入口罩内部，还是直接开发一个模块连接到市面上已有的任何非处方口罩上。</strong></span></p></section><section><p><br  /></p></section><section><section><p><img
